Embracing the scenic Skoottamatta River at the western limits of Flinton, this small 2 hectare (5 acre) Conservation Area contains the Flinton Dam. Located on this site in the early 1800s was Flint Mills, later replaced by a gold mill. An earlier dam was constructed here in the early 1920s, and rehabilitated in 1979. There are also some large White Pines.
