Attractively situated on the Milford Mill Pond, one of the features of this area is the historic Scott’s Mill. Once open to the public, the mill is now closed. Milford Mill Pond Conservation Area is a perfect spot for a summer picnic beside the water. This 11.8 hectare (29 acre) property also contains the Milford Dam. The dam was built in 1981, primarily for low flow augmentation.

The Milford Mill pond once powered saw, grist and carding mills that gave the
community its name. The property, dam and millpond were purchased by the Prince Edward Region Conservation Authority (now part of Quinte Conservation) in 1975.
