This is truly an area where nature meets history. Explore the relatively short hiking trail and enjoy a peek of the area’s plants and animals while also catching glimpses of the area’s past as you pass remnants of machinery and antique snake rail fences, and those laboriously crafted from large boulders. Learn about life in the 1800s in this Conservation Area. The village complex contains eight historic buildings, five of them original structures and is operated by a volunteer group, Friends of O’Hara Mill. This Conservation Area is 34 hectares (84 acres).
