Edenvale Conservation Area
By Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority

Found on the banks of the Nottawasaga River in the hamlet of Edenvale, this scenic Conservation Area offers highway travelers a convenient place to rest, picnic, launch their small boat or drop a fishing line. Managed by the Township of Springwater and known locally as the 'take-out' after a canoe trip through the Minesing Wetlands, this area can be used for overnight camping by people arriving by canoe only. A $5.00 fee per person is applied for camping and will be collected on site. A group use area is available and can be reserved by calling 705-322-2313

HOW TO GET THERE:

From the City of Barrie, take Highway 26 west to Edenvale. Cross the Nottawasaga River and turn right at front gates. Area is open spring to fall, from 9am to 9pm.
