Once the site of a popular Victorian resort, this park north of Goderich is perched on a bluff that offers spectacular views of the blue waters and beautiful sunsets of Lake Huron. Enjoy the sand beach or walk one of the many trails to see remnants of orchards and cedar rail fences, and traces of other activities dating back to the late 1800s.

The total number of campsites is 209 located in two campgrounds. The Huron campground is designated audio-free.

Group Camping
There are six group camping sites that accommodate up to 45 people. The area provides three drinking water taps, one vault toilet with cold water sinks, and a mini comfort station with flush toilets. The site is separated from the regular campground by a small ravine. The area (located in the North end of the park) is within a five minute walk of the beach, and is a short drive from comfort stations with showers. A maximum of six trailers are allowed per site as there is no electricity. For reservation information please call the park at (519) 524-7124

Picnics and Day Use - The Picnic area provides a drinking water tap, vault toilet, fire pit, picnic tables and BBQ's. There is also a trail to access the beach. The beach is equipped with picnic tables, volleyball net, vault toilets, and a large parking lot. Day users are also welcome to use the playgrounds in the campgrounds, playing field and trails.

Accessible flush toilets are located at the comfort stations at the Huron and Colborne campgrounds.

Yes. Flush toilets are located at the comfort stations at the Huron, Colborne and Group campgrounds and at the barn.

Washers, dryers and laundry tubs are located in the rear of both the Huron and Colborne comfort stations.

Play Area
Yes. Playgrounds can be found in both the Huron and Colborne campgrounds.

Off Season - Gated

Old Farms Trail: 3km (1 hour) easy

Under the Bluff Trail: 2km (1 hour) easy

Fishing - Visitors can fish in the nearby Maitland River, or off the peer in Goderich for bass, rainbow trout and perch.

Maitland River- 27km, 6hr, there are fast water rapids on the route.

There is no boat ramp within the park, but boats may be rented and launched at Goderich.

There are no dedicated cycling trails in the park but there are many scenic cycling routes in Goderich and the surrounding area.

Winter Activities
In winter, visitors can snowshoe or cross-country ski along the park's ungroomed trails

The park has a softball and playing field located adjacent to the Colborne campground.

Campers may borrow games and sporting equipment at the park office by leaving a refundable deposit of $10. Horseshoes, soccer balls, baseball, badminton equipment and more are available.
